Xiaomi’s Mi 11 phone is now officially on sale in the UK. The Mi 11 is the first handset to boast the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which promises dramatic leaps in 5G, AI, gaming, and photography.
The Mi 11 launched alongside the Mi Watch, Mi Watch Lite and a Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 edition Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. Watch the launch event again here.
As of 29 March, there are three more Mi 11 phones to join the mix including the Mi 11 Pro, 11 Ultra, 11 Lite, and 11i – though not all the phones will be available in the UK. These handsets launched with the Mi Band fitness tracker series, the Mi Band 6, as well as a new WiFi 6-capable router, in the AX9000 and the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro.
Xiaomi is kicking off its Mi Fan Festival from 6th to 9th April (19 April in the US) with deals on the Mi 11 (more on this below). Here, we’re tracking where to buy the Xiaomi Mi 11 phones right now in the UK with full pricing information.
About the Mi 11 range – Which phones can I buy in the UK?
Xiaomi announced the Mi 11’s release for western markets on 8 February, having previously launched in China last December. The range now includes five phones: The Mi 11, 11 Pro, 11 Ultra, 11 Lite and 11i. Of the five, only the Mi 11, 11 Ultra and 11 Lite are UK-bound, with the Mi 11 already on sale.
The Mi 11 offers a 6.81in AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K (3200×1440) resolution – a first for Xiaomi. Other features include a 4600mAh battery suited to 55W fast charging and 50W wireless charging and a 108Mp main camera. See our full review of the Mi 11, where it received 4/5 stars and a Tech Advisor Recommended badge.
Xiaomi confirmed the 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Lite phones are headed to the UK, though specific release dates have not been announced. Catch up on all Mi 11-related news and rumours here.
Both the Ultra and Pro will offer the Snapdragon 888 processor and up to 12GB RAM. Like the Mi 11, you can expect 2K quad-curved 120Hz AMOLED panels on both phones, but a larger 5000mAh battery (compared to the Mi 11’s 4600mAh) that supports wired and wireless fast charging at 67W.
The Mi 11 Pro will also offer a 50Mp main camera, 13Mp ultrawide, and an 8Mp ‘telemacro’ lens with OIS. The 11 Ultra will offer a 48Mp main camera, and most notably, a mini display on the rear camera module that doubles as a viewfinder, so that the main camera can be used for selfies.
The Mi 11 Lite, with a 6.55in 90Hz AMOLED display, will be available in 4G or 5G connectivity. The 4G option will offer the Snapdragon 732G, while the 5G option will offer the Snapdragon 780G. As for cameras, the Mi 11 Lite will pack a 64Mp main sensor, along with an 8Mp ultrawide and a 5Mp ‘telemacro’. The phone will also support 33W fast charging on a 4250mAh battery.
