The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone’s 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant is headed to India soon, according to a noted tipster. Samsung launched the mid-range Galaxy A53 5G smartphone in India in March. The smartphone comes in two configurations including a 6GB RAM+128GB storage and an 8GB RAM+128GB storage model. Now, Samsung is reportedly prepping to bring another configuration of the phone to the Indian market.
To recap, the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone was spotted on the Google Play Console listing earlier this year. The listing divulged a slew of vital information about the handset. Now, Samsung is reportedly on the verge of adding an 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant for the Indian market. This will be the third and highest-end variant of the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone in the country. Noted leaker Abhishek Yadav has revealed details of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G 256GB variant’s price in India.

Notably, Abhishek claims that the Galaxy A53 5G 8GB+256GB variant’s price in India is set at INR 38,999. However, consumers will be able to avail of an INR 3,000 offer. So, the original asking price of the handset will come down to just INR 35,999. Also, a report by MySmartPrice suggests that the INR 3,000 offer could be available for a limited time. However, Samsung hasn’t confirmed nor denied these speculations yet.

The Galaxy A53 5G is currently available for purchase on Samsung.com. Alternatively, you can buy the handset from Samsung offline stores. The 6GB RAM+128GB storage model costs INR 31,499. Likewise, the 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant is available for purchase for INR 32,999. Now, the Galaxy A53 5G has passed through multiple certification websites including TENAA. These listings gave us an idea of what the 5G-ready phone will offer.
The Galaxy A53 5G sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the device features an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. There’s a layer of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 on top for additional protection as well. Further, the handset packs an octa-core Exynos 1280 processor under the hood. For optics, it has four rear-mounted cameras and an LED flash.
The rear camera setup includes a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 5MP sensors. Upfront, the phone houses a 32MP selfie camera.
